I'm on my periods!
HELLO READER!
Here's a short story of Veena, a teenager who's busy with college-assignments-records-exams-etcetera! got her rush of all that estrogen! cycle(**that time of the month) unnoticed and fell in front of the HOD room. Everybody was so shocked, they helped her get up sit down have to sugar. While this Hungama was busy going on there was that one teacher ready to inform her parents! Veena got tensed, she never wanted her parents to suffer for her in any way.
Meanwhile, that typical Indian parents' mind was popping idiotic questions like "pregnant hai kya?" When they reached the college Veena's mother was so angry that she was about to beat her only child who's facing such a bad say, instead of consoling her saying: "everything is okay beta!"
Veena barely had friends but they were so damn close to each other. While most of them were boys, her mom hated them being for her. She always suspected people around her.
Little girl's mind was occupied about 'Log kya kahega' beside her mom arrogantly was blaming her for everything happened in her own life. Going through all this, she wanted to fight back by replying to her mother: "I got my periods mom. I feel so weak!" (*Not in high-tone, but yea! a little louder coz she was pissed off) And that very moment in Veena's life was an unforgettable hard memory!
Her mom always pitched it as if she did the worst sin ever for telling out "I'm on my periods" in front of her very close opposite-sex friends, who could also be referred to as brothers!

Why shouldn't a girl tell out loud "I'm on my periods."
Because men may know that she's bleeding and would like to smell her pants, is it? Phew! sorry for being rude. History says, women on their menstrual cycle have negative vibes and so they aren't allowed to touch during then & so they'll be kept aside isolated like an untouchable. Let's rewrite that reason which is that: Women's hormones sense unlikely to touch, and angry fills their mood. so, leaving them just like that would be a nice option but not when they need you!
Ok! Now, what's could be the worst thing men do if they know you're on your periods?
Let's see how many men-relation we have...
- Father: Gets you sanitary pads and ice cream along with that!
- Brother: Does the same and maybe stops annoying you a little.
- Boss: Grants leave for a day or two to let you rest.
- Friend: Helps you with mood swings joking around!
- Boyfriend: Give cuddles and care to you.
There's nothing worst until you make it..! Menstrual cycle for women is as common as everything happening, we shouldn't just isolate them like shit during the time they need us the most.
When women help women... wonders happen! but when men help women... we could bound together.
THANK YOU!
👏👏👏 Good choice of topic...choice of words could have been better
